Struggling with Data Center Virtualization and Opera. Any Advice?

Hello everyone,
I've been running into some persistent issues with data center virtualization when using Opera, and I could really use some advice or insights from anyone who might have encountered something similar. It’s been a bit frustrating trying to get everything to work smoothly, so I’m hoping the community here can offer some guidance.
Here’s a rundown of the problems I’m facing:
Performance Lag: When accessing Opera through virtual machines, the browser’s performance takes a noticeable hit, especially under heavy workloads. This lag is starting to affect productivity, as we rely on Opera for specific tasks within our virtualized environment.
Compatibility Issues: Certain features in Opera don’t seem to function properly when it’s running in a virtualized setting. It feels like the browser isn’t fully recognizing the virtualized hardware or the resources allocated to it, leading to inconsistent behavior.
Resource Management: I suspect there might be an issue with how Opera interacts with the virtualized resources. Despite trying various configurations, I haven’t been able to optimize this setup effectively.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
Tweaking Settings: I’ve adjusted settings both within Opera and our virtualization software, but these tweaks haven’t fully resolved the issues.
Monitoring Resource Allocation: I’ve been keeping an eye on how resources are being allocated to Opera in the virtual environment, but I haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary that would explain the performance issues.
What I’m Looking For:
Tips on Optimization: If anyone has suggestions on how to improve Opera’s performance in a virtualized environment, I’d love to hear them.
Troubleshooting Advice: Any insights into what might be causing these compatibility issues would be incredibly helpful.
Sharing Experiences: If you’ve faced similar challenges, I’d appreciate hearing about your experiences and how you managed to overcome them. Thanks in advance for any advice or guidance you can offer.
Your help would be greatly appreciated! -

First thing to check would be to goto the URL
opera://gpu
in Opera in the virtual machine to make sure things are hardware-accelerated.Also, make sure "Use graphics acceleration when available" is enabled at the URL
opera://settings/system
, and if the virtual machine is running Windows, adjust the Angle flag for the GPU exposed to Opera in the virtual machine.
