Confusing inside and outside

I just had a conversation with Aria where I asked for a list of groups. The list it gave me were all Canadian groups. I asked for groups "outside Canada" and then it listed other Canadian groups, and said that these were all groups affiliated with a Canadian meta group. When I explicitly asked for local groups not associated with the Canadian meta group it gave me even more Canadian groups, but this time not affiliated with the meta group. Finally I refined my query and got a list of non-Canadian meta groups.
We then had a discussion about feedback and it eventually led me here.
