Opera Bug When Using Alt+Tab

(NOTE: This bug pertains to Windows XP Service Pack 3)
I am having issues with bringing up the Opera browser. Sometimes when I use the Alt+Tab shortcut by Windows to switch between programs, Opera will not respond.
Pretend I have three programs on: Notepad, another web browser, and Opera. I use the shortcut to select Notepad. When I use the shortcut again and try to switch to Opera, two things happen. Either, the other web browser pops up, or the shortcut does nothing. This glitch can get very annoying at times.
One workaround involves activating the Find mini-window, making sure that the text cursor is visible or if the text is highlighted. The next time I want to switch from my working program, Opera will respond correctly because of the priority of the Find mini-window. The second involves minimizing all active programs using Show Desktop (Windows key+D), then clicking on the Opera taskbar to bring it up.
