I cannot configure the mods I download

This problem was recent and had not happened to me.
When I download a mod it automatically selects all the options (Browser sounds, theme, key sound, etc), but when I try to disable some of them to leave only some options it doesn't let me. It appears that they are unchecked, but they are still active.
I tried to restart opera gx and update it, but nothing.
