Less sensitive gestures

I use Opera gestures a lot, but with a high DPI mouse they can be hard to perform without slowing down because you tend to make more "curvy" gestures. They worked perfectly in an older version from a few months ago, but it seems in the latest version they've been restricted to more perfect gesture paths. Can this be a setting?
