Unpacked extensions disappear every time Opera GX is closed.

A description of the problem, including as much as information as possible
- I currently have Opera GX running in developer mode so that I can use the All Mangas Reader extension which i can only install via unpacking. The extension works perfectly when unpacked but every time i close Opera GX, it disappears from the browser and has to be unpacked again even though no files are changing. I need a way to ensure that the extension persists between sessions, please help.
Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue
- Close the browser and reopen it.
Expected behavior and actual one
- Unpacked extensions should still appear in the extensions list between sessions and not vanish every time you close Opera GX.

Where is the unpacked extension's folder at? Make sure that it is not in the "Extensions" folder in the profile folder or Opera will remove it. Only normally-installed extensions go there. Put the extension's folder on your desktop or in "C:\Users\yourusername\Opera Extensions" (that you create) or wherever. Just don't put it in the profile's "Extensions" folder.

@burnout426 It's already on the desktop, the folder doesn't vanish, the extension just gets removed my my list of extensions every time I close and reopen opera gx, requiring me to go into extensions and load unpacked.

Is your Opera GX updated to 111.0.5168.90?
You can zip up an extension, link to it where I can download it and see if it's something about the extension itself that causes it.
Does it happen in a test standalone installation too?
