The back button does not go to the previous webpage sometimes and instead is sent to the Opera speed dial/homepage.

If for example I am on reddit and I tap multiple links. Lets say I want to tap the back button to go to the previous link. Sometimes, but not always, I will lose all progress of previous links I checked when I tap the back button just once. Instead of directing me to the previous link, I instead get sent all the way back to the Opera speed dial/homepage.
The only way to access the previous link that I wanted, I would have to press and hold the back button to access the history page and manually search and tap for the link that I want. This can be frustratingly irritating considering that this should not happen. I remember months ago this did not happen. This has been a bug for many months now. I am on the most recent version of Opera as I am typing this out. I am on iOS 16 but I highly doubt that is the cause of the problem.
I am finding it difficult to use Opera on iOS as this is the second major but that irks me. The first bug is shown on my profile I believe if you are curious. Please do something to fix this bug.
