how to roll back to a previous version

Hi,

I would like to rollback to a previous version but I am not very tech savvy. I am running macOSX mountain lion (or the one before) and I desperately need to get back the ability to use tab stacking . My life revolved around this feature. Could some kind person please help me work out how to get back to a version of opera which had this feature? I also miss session saving and private tabs (as opposed to windows)

1. Download real Opera browser for MacOS: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/mac/1214/
2. Install it and run
3. Go to address bar and type (paste and go): opera:config#UserPrefs|DisableOperaPackageAutoUpdate
4. Check the flag ("Disable opera package...") and save settings

DisableOperaPackageAutoUpdate seemed to be removed.
