Indicate when a workspace is playing audio

It happened to everyone: suddenly a sound/music starts playing and you don't know where it's coming from. Especially for those who like using multiple workspaces, I think it'd be very useful to have a small icon next to the workspace symbol activating each time a tab opened in that workspace starts playing audio. Maybe the same size as the notification dot that appears sometimes, you could have this in one corner of the symbol.
I think this would be useful for many people, to be able to quickly find the tab and turn the sound of.
