Webcam throws error, says another application is using it

I have been having issues with my webcam when I need it for Google Meet. Google Meet would always say the camera failed because another application is using it. If I open the Google Meet on Chrome, it works. Even when I tested with https://webcamtests.com/, GX fails and Chrome works. So what could GX be missing?
