gmail on Speed Dial - Still Not Working on New Start Page

So, can we get the word on whether this issue is even going to be fixed sometime soon? Or is the stand from Opera's side going to be that it is the extension creator's problem?

I haven't been using the New Start Page because of it's inability to display this gmail on Speed Dial.
