profile won't work

for the past week or so, whenever i tried to create a seperate gx profile, it just wouldn't be made. i even deleted all my opera files and did a fresh install, the same issue is occurring. how do i fix this?

@burnout426 this isn't helping my issue. whenever i press create profile, nothing is made, not even a taskbar icon

@h3lterspid3r Do you get the Windows notification asking you if you want to allow the pinning of the taskbar icon? If not, in settings in Windows, goto System -> Notifications and make sure "Do not disturb" is off and make sure "Notifications" is set to enabled. (Don't worry if Opera GX is not listed in the App list on that settings page.)

For now though, since things are messed up, you can create extra profiles for Opera GX the Chromium way if you want.
