I just installed Opera One (version: 104.0.4944.28) (x86_64) on Mac. When I go to opera://settings/importData, I get the popup to import settings and bookmarks from Chrome, but when I click on Import, the dialog closes and nothing happens. I am able to import from Firefox using the same steps. Any ideas?

Some others on Reddit have had the same issue. I would import from Chrome to Firefox and Firefox to Opera for now.

For bookmarks specifically, you can goto the URL chrome://bookmarks, click the 3 dots at the top right and export your bookmarks. Then in Opera, you can goto the URL opera://settings/importData, choose "Bookmarks HTML file" in the drop-down and import the HTML file. Then, at the URL opera://bookmarks, you can move the imported bookmarks where you want.

For passwords, you can goto the URL chrome://password-manager/passwords in both Chrome and Opera and export your passwords in Chrome and import them in Opera.

Another way that you can experiment with is to delete everything in "/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/" and copy everything in "~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome" over to it (while both Opera and Chrome are fully closed).

            Hello fellow Opera users,

I'm currently facing a bit of a challenge while trying to import my bookmarks from both Chrome and Firefox into Opera. I've followed the steps outlined in the browser's settings, but I'm still encountering issues.

            Here's what I've tried:

I went to Opera's menu > Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings.
I selected both Chrome and Firefox browsers.
I made sure the "Bookmarks" option was checked in the import settings.
            I clicked "Import."

However, it doesn't seem to be working as expected. I'm not seeing my bookmarks from Chrome and Firefox in Opera, and I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

            Thank you.
