Opera GX syncing crash

Whenever i try to sync my account on another computer, opera gx just crashes and reopens. This cycle repeats 3 times and it remains closed. After that i can't get opera gx to run properly anymore, does anyone have a solution?

@kevinxu1 I would risk uninstalling and reinstalling, I had the same problem with FireFox,
