Animated Wallpaper Pausing When Not Active

Hello. There seems to be some default behavior that the animated wallpaper in Opera GX will pause when not active. It's problematic for me because I would like to sync the background music to the wallpaper 1:1.
Is this the case or is there some setting I can set to enable this to function properly. I assume the browser has this configuration embedded to conserve resources.
Perhaps I can configure my animation(s) to play through webmodding at a predetermined time? I'm not sure how to do this just yet though....
