How to delete opera Link?

Hi there,

I am looking to delete all my user data from Opera link, all the bookmarks and passwords. How would I go about doing that? Thanks in advance.

All the usual disclaimers apply — entirely at your own risk, don't kick the cat if it fails, etc.

1. Make a backup of your data — bookmark.adr, notes.adr, wand.dat, speeddial.ini, etc.
2. Enable sync
3. Delete all of your bookmarks and empty the trash
4. Restart Opera
5. Check to see if your bookmarks have been removed from Opera Link.
6. Disable Opera sync
7. Exit Opera
8. Copy your backup files back to your Profile folder, overwriting the now empty ones
9. Repeat for your Notes and other data if this method works as you hope

You might be right — perhaps just another disgruntled user on the way out, but I prefer to be optimistic.
