Paste without format

For years, I've never been able to get Opera to paste without format on any site it connects to. whether that's google docs or another location.

Pasting works fine
Pasting without format never works and comes up with no action taken
I've used the google sheet menu to paste without format - no action
I've used CTRL+SHiFT+V with no action happening
I've used right click and paste without formatting with no action happening.

Pasting works fine
Control V works fine

There are no keyboard shortcuts in opera GX for pasting without formatting
There are no keyboard shortcuts in Opera GX for CTRL+ALT+V

So how do I get Opera GX to let me paste without formatting?

My current workaround is to paste in a notepad to strip formatting myself before using an extra paste into Opera GX, but that gets tedious over time.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
