Well I know, this isn't the philosopher's Stone, but may be of some help
I discovered that if you open both Opera 12 and Opera 25 and you drag icons from the speeddial ini window of Opera 12
to the speeddial window of Opera 25 ...... it works (and you have still the icons present on Opera 12)
this isn't very quick to do because there is no way to select more of one icon at a time, but is of great help
I hope this can help someone of you that has the problem to transfer the speeddial.ini file from the old version to the
new version
