Cant delete or edit a bookmarks folder

theres a folder in my imported booksmarks i am unable to delete or edit. when i right click the folder the options are there but greyed out. ive even tried selecting it and hitting delete on my keyboard. the folder is empty as i had to manually delete everything in the folder but cannot get rid of the folder itself.
