      Few days ago I installed Opera11.0 on my windows 8 pc. But Its works very slowly. I could not open any site properly and its take huge time to open a site.

      Why its slow in my computer?

          Well, I would suggest not to use Windows 8 in the first place. :whistle: But if we are talking about Windows, yes, the "current" version would be 19. We can argue about the interpretation of "safe", though. As you said, Opera 12.x might be the better choice, but besides 12.16 there are a lot of people recommending 12.14. And of course, there are even some suggesting 11.64 as last "good" version. Whatever it is, maybe the OP has some reasons to stay on Opera 11.x for the time being.

            If we are talking about Opera we have to differentiate between Opera Presto (current version 12.16) and Opera Blink which is a totally different product! Therefore speaking strictly, an upgrade from Opera Presto to Opera Blink (which is a deceiving marketing bubble) is not possible.
            People can however switch to Opera Blink in case they choose so.
