laurack last edited byI had to "refresh" my computer, not knowing it would take Opera away. I did find the windows.old file, and launched opera from there, but all my speed dials and hearts are gone. Are they in a file I can import, and if so, what would the file be named? Thank you so much for your help!!!

Reinstalling a Windows operating system with the exact same version that was previously installed (without formatting the hard drive) would not create a 'windows.old' file, unless you were upgrading to a new (Windows 7 or operating system. Well not in my experience anyway. operating system. Well not in my experience anyway.
