I really used notifications on opera. But now with last update and switch to opera one notifications won't stay on windows notifications center. So unless i see them and read them in those 7 seconds they come up they are gone. That wasn't happening with opera before. I don't think makes any sense to have notifications working that way. They are useless. I used them mostly for sports scores but since they disappear, now there is no sense to use them anymore.
The sense of this? -

@lazysmurf I understand your frustration with the changes in Opera's notification system. The recent update to Opera One has caused notifications to disappear quickly from the Windows notifications center, making them less useful, especially for sports scores. It can be frustrating when notifications vanish before you have a chance to read them. This change seems to have impacted the functionality and usefulness of the feature. It's important for developers to consider the user experience and ensure that notifications provide relevant and accessible information. Hopefully, Opera will take this feedback into account and consider improvements to their notification system in future updates.

@lazysmurf 1 :Check if there are any settings within Opera related to notifications that may have changed with the update. You can access these settings by navigating to Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security.
2: Ensure that Opera is allowed to send notifications through Windows Notification Center by going to Windows Settings > System > Notifications & Actions and making sure that Opera has permission enabled.
3: Try reverting back to an older version of Opera (if possible) until they resolve this issue in a future update.
Provide feedback about this issue directly to the developers of Opera through their official forum or bug report form. This will help them become aware of the problem and possibly fix it in upcoming updates.
Remember, staying up-to-date on browser updates is essential for security reasons, but sometimes new updates can bring unexpected issues like this one. Providing feedback helps improve future versions and restores features we value most! -

It's stupid. I Doesn't make sense to update a browser and taking a step back on a feature that was working fine on older version.
Isn't about windows settings It's all fine there.. I get notification. and they are working normally with other apps and other browsers.
I will wait for next update to see if they will start to work again as they should... otherwise i will get to my conclusion..
This way it sucks and notifications are useless. I don't get why developers release a browser with notifications option, but that you have to catch them as they come out or you will miss them? isn't a no sense? Notifications should be made to be noticed? If that makes sense to them... May they rather add another ai engine. -

You actually had working notifications? How? I've used every browser Opera has put out and I've never had working notifications. I would really love to use Opera but for years their notifications have never worked for me. Work on every other Chromium based browser though.

In fact isn't anything that automatic. Notifications work for the session. So to make them work i usually go to youtube, reset notifications permission, delete cookies of that website and restart opera. then it asks permission for notifications..i allow it..and notifications works until next restart.

And for a while they got back to normal and had normal notifications. Today again those that disappear and gone after few seconds..
And i don't think i got any updated between yesterday and today.
This new notifications suck big time, they are useless. I don't know what they are doing. Don't really get the sense of a notification that can't be notice unless you pay attention to it the moment it comes out..
buh!?
