Forcing wallpaper

Recently I wanted, to try an animated wallpaper for the Opera GX browser. I picked "Sunset flight". After a few days, I found out that it consumes to much power of my laptop and I want to remove it. I've disabled custom wallpaper, I chose another theme. It temporarily saves for this session but when I relaunch the browser, the wallpaper returns. So annoying.
