Opera GX crashing repeatedly when trying to access Auto Fill Settings

whenever I attempt to access the autofill page on the settings menu, specifically to access my passwords, Opera GX immediately crashes. When it restarts, it will be fine unless i return to the tab on the settings, and since it will have autofill at the top of the screen, proceeds to crash again.
This repeated crashing causes Opera to sign me out of my profile, disable all of my extensions, and strangely enough, cause many, many instances of Opera GX to appear in my task manager, far exceeding the actual amount of tabs i have and all chewing up a lot of memory.
Auto Fill seems to be the primary trigger from my observations, and i'm unsure why other than an assumption that this is some sort erroneous attempt at stifling malicious password stealing even if it's me attempting to remember my own passwords.
