scrolling speed is too fast

ive used this browser for the last 1.5 years on a dell desktop from 2010 and a levnovo ideapad 310 from 2017 and never had any issues with scrolling speeds being fast. in the last 2 weeks I've gone threw 2 almost identical hp laptops from around 2019 unsure of what they are exactly, but both of them are scrolling on all opera gx pages super fast and not doing it on any other browsers or other apps on the computer. the computer scroll sensitivity also doesn't effect opera gx at all. if i want opera to scroll normally i have to have a tab open in front of it and not click on opera but just scroll. if anyone could help i would be really greatful
