Discord on sidebar being logged out

The Discord sidebar app logs me out after exiting OperaGX, and sometimes during a browser session without closing, and a quick Google search confirms this is a common issue. I've done all the steps I could find, including making sure Opera isn't auto-deleting my cookies on exit, and making sure my Discord login is saved on OperaGX. These solutions do not fix the issue, and it does not occur with other messenger apps. When can I expect an update that will fix this? It's irritating having to log back into Discord every time I close my browser, sometimes even several times during the same browser session. Thank you in advance for any timeline on a fix for this issue.
