Discord Black screen for Opera application stream

Why does this happen on discord I am stuck using the crappy youtube activity to chill with friends and now Opera won't stream as it shows up as a black screen. I have seen ways around it but if I disable hardware acceleration my Opera becomes laggy which I do not enjoy I'd rather encounter this discord bug than lag on a browser I use daily. Are there any ways to get around this issue without turning off hardware acceleration? -
