Background setting problems

My setting to change my background in Opera is dead and I don't know what to do. I tried restarting the computer, turning it off and on, closing the Opera screen completely and exiting it with 100% effectiveness, but nothing changed. It doesn't even matter if I try to put a photo of myself, some animated image or not, screen extension, absolutely nothing appears, not even the photos of "mods" available in Opera's store for customization. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I want to have a beautiful screen again, it is very discouraging to see a gray screen at the top of the screen and not be able to change it.
