Latest Opera for Android wont play videos using external video player

Hi.
I'm using Opera 16 for Android. When opening a video file on the web, the browser is automatically opening it with built in video player.
Why it's not asking to download it or open with system default player? (MX Player Pro in this case)
Is this intentional? Can i turn off player built in Opera? Or am I just doing something wrong?
I really like this browser, but this is major issue for me... :whistle: -

i'm having the exact same problem.anyone?
i m guessing the problem is caused when opera mobile 16 is removing the http part from the url, and causes the mx player to not detect the stream. -
