For almost a month or two now I've been having issues with Opera GX's youtube tabs (I have about 2 open maximum, 1 actually playing) will constantly buffer and freeze whenever the browser is minimized. I've gone through performance settings, I've checked my internet connection, even gotten an entirely new M.2 SSD to see if the issue was related to storage speed, and nothing worked. Still to this day (literally 15 minutes ago) the browser would constantly buffer every 2-3 seconds, not continuing until I manually tabbed back into youtube, in which it would immediately begin playing the video again. The loading bar is minutes ahead, even pausing and resuming via the window preview or windows functions works.

In a thread from 5 years ago (locked now for no reason I can see) somebody was directed to "opera://flags/#disable-background-video-track", which had brought me to absolutely nothing.

        Extension:
Whenever I tab out I have found that the download and upload speed goes from 1.2KB/s (it shouldn't be anywhere near as low, in downloading apps and such I get anywhere close to 12-13MB/s, and even then other browsers will still reach 1-2MB/s.
On messing around with it, whenever I tab in it seems to read NaN KB/s, and after a second of the window being opened and in focus it will say 0KB/s, then ~1KB/s.

@foxxo1723 I found that disabling hardware acceleration seems to have worked so far for me sorry if this reply is a little late.
