having a profile that wipes itself after closing also wipes your normal profile as well

i noticed really quickly what was happening when all of my bookmarks disappeared after closing the rogue setup version but only figured out what was happening after i tried to test everything that could end up causing this. Is there any way i would be able to get those bookmarks back because some of them had important things like links to family photos in them that I don't have anymore due to them disappearing with no warning.
