I downloaded both Opera 18 and Opera 19 Dev. Where are the advanced settings and mail at? I dont understand why they removed the advanced settings and ability to view mail. Can someone explain this manure and is there a way to get these back?

Mail is no longer integrated with the browser. You can download the standalone mail client here:
http://www.opera.com/computer/mail
Type into the address bar, Opera:flags
This will bring you to some of the "advanced" settings so that you can enable them. For instance, QAB (Quick Address Bar) is enabled here. Once you do that you need to close and re-open the browser then go into settings to finalize the QAB. This will enable you to drag and drop your favorites onto the address bar to have bookmarks at your fingertips. It's one example of the settings you're looking for. Others can be found by doing a search.

You don't... it's a pathetically crippled browser compared to Opera 12/earlier since it is quite literally little more than Chrome with the Opera logo slapped on it any old way... Which of course is why I sit here scratching my head wondering how they can go through 5 major revision numbers (15 to 20) without actually adding in anything more significant than rocker navigation or a half-assed attempt to put bookmarks back in.
But then if I was doing versioning, Opera 20 would be Opera 15.0003 alpha given the 'changes', or more specifically lack therein.
... and honestly your locked post said it far, far better... Now to wait for the halfwit apologist to pour out of the woodwork; who cares if EVERYTHING that made Opera worth using over browsers like Chrome are nowhere to be found.
