Full brightness adjustment options in advanced theme customization

Hi there! I recently attempted to switch from Chrome because it was too resource heavy on my computer. I've had the same Chrome theme (Ocean Pacific by OPI) for years and being limited to "light" and "dark" is making it hard for me to completely recreate the theme I love and am used to. Would it be possible to allow for brightness control in the advanced customization settings for themes? Shades and tints aren't complex enough for what I'm looking to create to finalize the perfect web browsing experience for me.
