When I put something in full screen the whole screen goes black.
When I disable full screen it goes back to narmal.
And yes it it cuz of opera GX cuz on other browsers it does not happen.

Hello, I'm still looking for the same solution. Whenever I opera on a big screen or a projector, the entire screen goes off. Sometimes, it show a live wallpaper.
Do you know the solution?

@samuel-gill I started using a different version of opera when the same thing happened to me and after some time it resolved itself but I still have the same problem with other apps.
