@fillip The Note Sidebar icon is in Opera's left sidebar, not the extension toolbar at the top. If you do not see it, click on the left sidebar on the 3 dot icon. That will open the left side panel, and scroll down to the topic "Sidebar Extensions". Here you can enable the "Note Sidebar" to show in the left sidebar.

@stefanvd Thank you for your reply. However, I wish you developers would put in a little extra effort and provide a screenshot on your help page showing things like this when there's a difference between browsers.
The screenshot you have is for Opera, and obviously I couldn't find it. Pretty frustrating experience that could easily be prevented if there was a simple screenshot for "Opera GT".
Just a suggestion, as well as a thank you. -

@fillip On the Opera add-on store, I can only place 3 screenshots. Opera web browser and Opera GT use the same User Interface. It is just different colors (Opera GT is a dark red user interface), but both have a side panel on the left side. They have the same 3 dot icon to change the sidebar buttons.

I can't seem to add multiple tabs? The option is not there like what I see in the video?

@DarylMeng2025
Open the Note Sidebar Options page -> in the Advanced Options you see the topic "Multiple Notes". Enable that checkbox and you see the multiple tabs to write your notes.If you have any questions or need help, you can contact me at https://www.stefanvd.net/support

I like this extension very much. But opera doesnt allow me to move it to the right. Is there a way to open that extension on the right?
-

@Hamzac That is Opera web browser limitation and not an extension issue. See these forum posts:

The extension often loses inputted text randomly. The automatic save feature isn't reliable at this point. Also, I've noticed that the manual save button doesn't always inform the user if the data was saved after pressing the button either, so there's no telling if the information was saved or not from the UI. So that leaves me to manually exporting information, constantly.

It is possible that you have reached the limit of chrome.storage.sync, which could be why your notes are not being saved. To resolve this issue, please enable the option to save notes locally in the Note Sidebar Options page. You can find this setting under the Advanced Options tab, in the section titled Storage.
Also, make sure you are using the latest version of the Note Sidebar browser extension: version 1.0.30.If you need assistance in the future, please use the support page at: https://www.stefanvd.net/support

@stefanvd: The only version available through Opera's Extension platform is 1.0.27. At least, that's where your link from your website has lead me to. Is there another version available somewhere else?

@Ontologicalshift Opera review team is slow, you can see the latest version already in Firefox and Google Chrome web store.
