Malware extension "Blanket"

I want to report this extension as malware. I downloaded only 1 extension ((Free Download Manager, which has been safe for... the past 2 years I've used it) and the built in Opera Ad Blocker, which is always active. I don't know how this malware got onto my browser in the first place, since I don't use extensions beyond the 2 listed, but I keep removing it and it keeps reinstalling every time I open up the browser.

After searching through the forums, I've gathered that these problems are related to browsers using Chromium. If that is the case, then none of the solutions presented in the forums are working for me. I've tried malwarebytes, Windows Defender, Advanced System Repair, Norton, Mcafee, AVG, and Nord... None have worked. I am tired of trying antivirus programs that promise things but don't deliver. I've even tried using Process Hacker 2 to do it manually before I realized I'm not that computer literate to do it without risking damage to everything.

Does anyone have a surefire way to remove this stuff? Or suggestions on a browser that doesn't use Chromium (which I suspect is the root cause and I'm a c**t hair away from deleting Opera the same way I did away with Chrome)?

I'm at my wits end with this problem.
