Sidebar extensions popup API

Hello, i'm trying to create extension that creates new popup window nearby extension icon (like toolbar one) but i didn't find any api for that. There is one but it creates only windows.

Here is the small example how it can look like.

Yo again, i thought about it and found out that this "sidebar thing" can be implemented by moving entire extension from the toolbar. It will allow users to apply more customization and easily access their favorite extensions (this is also allows developers to do not worry about problem that i described in my previous post)
