Can We Make Changes to Profiles after Creation?

Hello,
Does anyone know, is there a way to make changes to the profile(s) after creation? ie. I created a streaming profile, but it is annoying how it mutes all tabs on start up and i wish to uncheck, "Mute all tabs by default" but for me it's darkened when i go into the settings of the profile to make that change.
Thank you in advanced, I love Opera GX just wish the little bugs were fixed.
Sincerely,
Friendly Opera GX user -

In that profile, goto the URL
opera://settings/content/sound
and set it to "sites can play sound". Then, remove any sites from the override lists below if you want. -

Indeed. I see Opera's forcing the default streaming setting even if you change it. I'll see if there's a workaround.

Okay. Close that Opera profile, right-click on the Opera desktop shortcut for that profile, goto "properties", switch to the Shortcut tab, and edit the target field.
You want to remove
--side-profile-muted
from the target field command. Now, for the pinned taskbar icon, you can do the same. Right-click it, right-click "Opera GX - profilename", click "properties", switch to the Shortcut tab, and edit the target field again.
Then, you'll be able to change the setting the way I mentioned earlier and it'll stick.

@burnout426 anyway to do something like this but for the name of the profile?

@verbal-crimes This works in my testing:
Close your main GX profile. Then , goto the URL
opera://about
in the specific GX profile you want to rename, take note of the "profile" path, and close that GX profile. Then, in that profile folder, you will see an XXXXXXXX_sideprofile.json file. Open it in a text editor, change the profile's name, and save your changes.
Then, right-click on your taskbar and unpin the taskbar button for that GX profile. And, if you have a shortcut on your desktop for that profile, delete it.
Then, at the URL
opera://settings/side-profiles-settings
in the main GX profile, confirm that you see the name change. Then, click the 3 dots to the right of it and choose "Restore icons".
