Open link in a new tab

  • Opera 12 had 'Open in a new tab' option in context menu which opened a link in a new ACTIVE tab not background tab.
Option for background tab was also available.

While using Opera 12 I opened 90% of links in new ACTIVE tab and it was very convenient.
Sadly Opera 25 does not have this option (nor Chrome nor FF does) - it has actually, but it opens link in background tab and after that every time i need to additionally move cursor to that tab and click it to make it active.

Will this option be implemented in future or maybe there are some extensions? I can't find any

  • Found the extension
    https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/classic-tabs/?display=en

It has an option "When opening a link in a new tab, Focus the new tab, except when holding Ctrl"
    It's exactly what I needed
