I have to use SimNet, and Connect both are applications from McGraw-Hill, i access them through my schools Canvas and i am unable to do my assignments for the course using Opera GX i have to use Microsoft Edge or Chrome. Does anyone know how i can allow Access to Simnet and Connect? i have tried allowing Pop-ups but that did nothing. Any help if at all is appreciated.

If you're able to install extensions in your Opera, install https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/user-agent-switcher-5/, click the extension cube icon on the address bar and pin the extension to the address bar.
Then, click the extension's icon on the address bar, select Chrome, select Windows, click the edit button (pencil icon), press del to clear the current User-Agent string, paste:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/109.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
in there, and click OK.
Then, try things. You might have to goto the URL
opera://settings/content/all
and clear cookies and storage for the site(s) that you use to login/connect with first though. As for other things you can try, make sure you're not using Opera's VPN and that Opera's adblocking and tracking protection is off.

@burnout426 said in Opera GX not allowing Canvas to run McGraw-Hill:

That worked thank you! it would have been a pain to switch back and forth, honestly thank you!!
