I've tried to install opera 25 several times. The install goes smoothly but when the browser starts, the password manager icon is missing from the address bar. In version 12 this was the "key" icon. Looking under settings, it appears that the password manager is enabled and in fact I can access and edit them as they migrate over correctly.

It's just that the password manager won't work on web pages any more. BTW I'm running Win 8.1 with all fixes.

      Suggestions appreciated!

The key icon is gone, you can acess the password manager in settings > security and privacy.

I have same problem. Opera does not ask for store passwords. (Opera 25, Win 8.1)

I reinstalled 25 and as before, I can access all my old webpage passwords with the settings > security and privacy tab. But it shows no option to automatically enter the webpage password. I can't find a way to utilize the migrated passwords. Cntl+Enter used to work, but does not seem to any longer. So what's the use of saving passwords?

I think that if you click in the field, the password is supposed to be automatically put in if it's been saved.
The Wand button system was far better in my opinion!
              🙂
