Proxy Connection Failed

I recently redownloaded Opera GX to use as my main browser for gaming, in the past I had no issues using the browser at all, but now I get this error message whenever I try to use the browser.

ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED

Any ideas on what the issue could be? My chrome browser has no issues connecting to the internet and I have already checked my proxy settings for my PC which are to automatically detect settings.
