Newest update and Widgets

Normally, my weather widget (only one I use) is on the speed dial screen when I open Opera GX. This morning I got an update that moved all widg5ets to a popout menu on the right side. I have one question. Wh? There is also no option to move it back. Now I have to do an extra step just to see the widget.
It's not like you can access the widgets anywhere else but the speed dial screen. Why make it annoying to access?
If there is a way to move it back, I would be happy to learn how.
