Nothing in search bar

I've had this problem for around 2 months now. If I restart opera it fixes it, but it reverts it back to how it shows randomly. One minute it could be fine, then the next it's like this. I'm on the recent version of opera I made sure I was on the newest version. Anyone know how to fix this?

Any difference if you click the Easy Setup button at the right of the address bar, switch to light theme and then back to dark?

Does it work in a test standalone installation at least?

@burnout426 I mean, it does work. But just randomly it happens. Like last night I restarted opera, and it was working fine. But when I responded above with the no difference it just randomly went like that again. Even though it was working literally 5 minutes before I posted that.
