Streams in background switch to 160p, thus having horrible audio quality

Hi there
I love having streams in the background while I do stuff. But since today, when I'm out of a twitch tab for around a minute, the stream automatically switches to 160p, and has mediocre audio quality until I go back to the tab and it switches back to higher quality after a second.
I'm not sure if it's an Opera GX thing or a Twitch thing, but I couldn't find anything in Twitch that could cause that. I also have the quality manually set to max, it's not on "auto". If anyone has any idea of how I could fix that, that would be most welcome

@vatinas I have the same problem and it annoys me a lot recently.
Unfortunately I can't give you any solution, the only thing I can tell you is that I'm using Chrome and it appears to be the same problem - so I think Twitch itself lowers the qualtiy. I hope not, because I've checked every setting in Twitch and haven't found anything related to that.
So hopefully it is something different and someone knows a solution.
