[Duplicated] Option to disable auto complete.

Can someone from Opera explain to me why, after many years and multiple requests, an option to turn off autocomplete has not been added? I know I'm not alone in saying that I find this so-called feature exceedingly inconvenient and extremely annoying. As well, I do know a bit about programming and it would be elementary to add this option. Therefore, why hasn't Opera done this? It would be nice if we, who dislike autocomplete, at least got an explanation instead of simply being ignored.

At the URL
opera://settings/privacy
, you can turn off autocomplete from search engines by disabling "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar".At the URL
opera://settings/autofill
, you can disable autofill of forms, payment methods, and passwords. Some users consider that autocomplete too.At the URL
opera://settings/enhancedAddressBar
, you can disable some autocomplete suggestions that appear before typing. At the URL
opera://flags/#address-bar-dropdown-categories
, you can disable autocomplete categories. There's alsoopera://flags/#address-bar-dropdown-cities
that's disabled by default. But, you can't disable autocomplete of history, bookmarks (including speed dials) and typed entries, and search engine keywords. Would be nice if you could though.

Thank you very much. Now if you can figure all that out, why can't they just make a simple setting to do that?
