Tabs from quick access open far right

I ran into a problem that new tabs opened by pressing the middle mouse button on the quick access toolbar are opened to the extreme right, although earlier they were opened next from the one on which I was the "user". Simply put, I have 5 tabs, I open a new one being on 3, and the new tab becomes 4 in a row, now it becomes 6, why is it now?
