Opera GX animation starts every time regardless of settings

The Opera GX animation, logo and sound show each time Opera is started regardless if it's been recently updated. Managed to somehow fix it recently but it updated and now it's showing every time again. I have the show startup screen disabled and I tried clicking it twice to enable and disable it and it didn't help.
