Attach/Upload window freezes Opera GX

Your OS Windows 10
Your version of Opera GX: LVL 3 (core: 86.0.4363.70)
This happens fairly randomly, so it is hard to reproduce. When I go to upload a document or photo or file, the window that pops up normally to allow me to do so just wont pop up. Its there, because I cant do anything in Opera until its closed, but I dont see it. Ive disabled everything and reset back to default settings, and it will, eventually, come back. I have to force close Opera and reopen it to begin again. This happens about 1x a day.
Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue: Go to any site and try and upload a file. It wont happen every time, but it happens.
Expected behavior and actual one: a dialog box should pop up and allow me to upload the file, but instead its invisible. Works fine in other browsers.

@burnout426 said in Attach/Upload window freezes Opera GX:
This post might help.
It looks like that is already turned off. Should I enable it?

@jediknight36 No need to enable it unless you want to use those features.
Is there a certain page and file type that you have to try and upload to reproduce the crash?

@burnout426 It doesnt even get that far.
When it happens, all Ive done is click the "upload" button on any website. Then absolutely nothing happens. Like the window is trying to pop up but doesnt. So I go to click anything, and windows Bings at me, to tell me that Im doing something out side the upload window. So windows knows the window is there, but I cant see it to interact with it. Ive tried tabbing through the selections blindly to cancel it, but can never find the button. So the only way to get around it is to force close Opera and open it again. Then its fine for an indeterminate amount of time,

@jediknight36 So, if you type
data:text/html,<input type="file">
in the address field, press enter and click "choose file", that's enough to make Opera freeze? -

@burnout426 Not every time, but eventually, that window doesn't visually pop up, and it seems to lock Opera up. If you type that in, and hit "Choose file", its like you cant see the window that's there, but you cant interact with anything in Opera until you close that window, or restart Opera.

@jediknight36 Can you eventually trigger it in a test standalone installation too?
Also, goto the URL
opera://settings/system
, disable hardware acceleration, and restart Opera to test if that avoids the freeze. -

@burnout426 I can try. Its really random. I have turned off HW acceleration.
