Opera GX/Opera installers crashing when trying to download.

Hello,
I've been at my wits end for a while now so I thought I would just head to forums to fix it. As the title says, every time I attempt to download opera gx or opera it will be open for about 10-15 seconds no matter what I'm doing in the installer. Then just crash.
Here is the info the posts require.
OS: Windows 10
Opera Version: Latest from website download pageI currently have no idea how this happened. I used opera GX for about 3 months then stopped for maybe one month? Then when I came back, it keep crashing after about 15 seconds of use. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and that did not fix it. I tried downloading Opera and the same thing happened. There is no error message, its like it just closes the tab. I have tried a full hardcore uninstall by finding all the Appdata files and deleting them. And I've tried almost every solution I could find on google. So hopefully yall have a solution.
Thanks,
Matthew Smith -

@matthewsmith Same with the installer from https://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera_gx/85.0.4341.79/win/ and even if you try to make a test standalone installation?
Have Bitdefender, Avast, or Kaspersky installed on your system?

@burnout426 I just tried that download with standalone installation and it did not even get to the download started screen before crashing. I do not have any of the programs listed. I used to have avast installed but deleted and uninstalled it a while ago. That's about it.

@matthewsmith said in Opera GX/Opera installers crashing when trying to download.:
and it did not even get to the download started screen
If you got the installer from the ftp.opera.com link I mentioned to make the standalone installation, it's an offline installer and doesn't have to download anything and doesn't require an internet connection. If that's the only you used, ok on the crash. If you didn't that link, try again with it.

@burnout426 first thanks for the quick respond. Second I attempted to do standalone installation again with the download from the link you sent me and it did not even let me click the download button before crashing.
